Artie's Gold resumed a winner at Wangaratta on Saturday winning first up over 1590m.
In what was a fantastic training performance by the stable he was presented fit enough to run home hard from the back of the field making a sustained run from the 600m mark and found the line well drawing away late to win.
That makes 3 winners over the past few weeks for Besanko Racing and its great to see a change of fortune for both the stable and it's owners after a string of placings earlier in the year.
