The horse who blinkers were applied to a few runs ago now is showing the form he has been expected to show from the early stages of his career.
Ray thought the effort was very gutsy and was rapt with the tenacious fight the horse showed as he was challenged all the way up the rising straight at Kilmore.
He's now working his way through the classes and Ray will continue to place him to advantage as he strives for a hat trick of victories at his next assignment.
After a frustrating run of 2nd placings for the stable the Chariot has certainly turned that around recently.
